"The unrestricted (R) licence course is a training and assessment program designed to help riders reinforce their riding knowledge and motorcycle handling skills, and further develop higher order thinking and risk management strategies. The objectives of the course are to enhance and reinforce riders' knowledge and skills in managing routine and more complex riding situations on a more powerful motorcycle, to reinforce appropriate riding attitudes, and to minimise the likelihood of harm due to inappropriate riding skills, behaviours or risk management strategies."
